Falmouth continues the tradition of the small-town Memorial Day observance and Saint Mary’s is blessed to be a key part of its conclusion each year. The parade starts at 10 AM at the Falmouth Memorial Library and stops at the Memorial markers in the Pine Grove Preserve across the street from our Burial Garden. Prayers are offered, patriotic songs are sung, words are spoken, and our National Anthem is sung. After these ceremonies, all are invited over to Saint Mary’s lawn to enjoy lemonade and snacks on the grass and under our big tent. Since a Civil War general is buried in our crypt, the Church is opened for all to come in and explore. Please join us to observe Memorial Day or to help out with our hospitality efforts.
