On Sunday, October 14, at 9:30 AM, all Saint Marians are called to come together (over a cup of coffee, of course!) to elect Delegates who will elect our new Bishop! Our Delegates, together with others from every parish of our Diocese of Maine and with all of our clergy, will meet together on Saturday, February 4 in Bangor for a special Electing Convention. This gathering on February 4 has only one item on the agenda: to prayerfully select our next Bishop from a slate of candidates presented by the Discernment Committee.

So mark October 14 on your calendar and ask God whether or not YOU are being called to represent Saint Mary’s at this Electing Convention. Bring your name or the names of others you wish to nominate – all nominations will come from the floor. And be part of the long history of God’s work among the people of the Diocese of Maine.
