The Episcopal Church of Saint Mary is a vibrant and active Christian community. While our church campus is in Falmouth, our parish family comes from many surrounding communities: from Freeport to Scarborough to Windham, as well as Portland, Cumberland and Yarmouth.
The first Chapel in this place was built in 1890. Saint Mary’s became a recognized parish community within The Episcopal Church in Maine in 1927. As the surrounding community has grown and changed, Saint Mary’s has grown and changed as well. In 2013, we completed a major capital campaign and building project to modernize our Parish House and to improve the energy efficiency in all three of our campus buildings.
