As we kick-off a new season and a new program year, we will change parts of our Sunday liturgies. After the Welcome and Opening Acclamation at 10 AM, we sing a Song of Praise. Often it is the classic “Gloria In Excelsis”. In Lent, we instead sing a cry for mercy (called “The Kyrie” from the first word in Greek, kyrie meaning “Lord” as in “Lord, have mercy”). This Autumn season, we will sing twice through a simple and beautiful song from the church in Zimbabwe. You can listen to it here if you want to be prepared for this new song on September 13!
