Caring Hearts Childcare Center update

The Board of Caring Hearts Childcare Center is delighted to share several important updates as we continue moving toward opening our doors.

We have officially closed on our loan with Coastal Enterprises, mark- ing a major milestone in making the childcare center a reality. This funding allows us to move forward with the final preparations needed to open and serve families in our community.

We are also very pleased to announce that Lori Smith has been hired as the new Executive Director of Caring Hearts Childcare Center. Lori began in mid-May and is already helping guide the center through this important launch phase. Her leadership, experience, and commitment to early childhood education will be a tremendous blessing as the program takes shape.

At this time, we anticipate opening in early September. Over the summer, the board and director will be focused on final program preparations, staffing, classroom setup, and enrollment planning.

We are deeply grateful for the support, encouragement, and prayers of the Saint Mary’s community as this work continues. In the coming weeks, we will also be sharing information about volunteer opportunities for those who would like to help us prepare to welcome new families and children to our campus.
