Caring Hearts is moving along

Things are moving along with Caring Hearts Childcare Center. Our director, Lori Smith, is interviewing staff and giving tours to prospective families. Enrollment is steadily increasing, and we are confident that we will hit our target numbers for our first year of operation. In addition, Lori has been busy getting the space ready. With the help of Buildings and Grounds and the board, we have painted the classrooms and are getting them set up.

Work will begin soon on the existing playground, which will get new fencing around an enlarged area, a shade structure, new ground cover, and some additional equipment. We have scheduled an Open House for August 27 from 3-6 pm.
