Challenge issued. Challenge Met!

Four weeks ago today, the Heritage Campaign kicked off a fundraising challenge. Bryan Townsend and Catherine Mitchell offered a $100,000 match if we raised $100,000 during November. This challenge, if successful, would enable us to begin the re-pointing work on the church building starting in January.

Thanks to our generous parishioners,  we have not only met the challenge but we raised more than $100,000!

We started the month having raised $1,203,781 toward our goal of $2,300,000.  The pledge forms were flying in the last 10 days of the challenge pushing us way over the goal. During November, our loyal and dedicated parishioners have donated a total of $403,219. Adding to that the generous match from Bryan and Catherine, we now have raised an additional $503,219 bringing our total to date to $1,707,000.

This incredible response means we can begin the work soon. We still need to raise $573,000 but we have come a long way during November!
