Heritage Campaign update

The Heritage Campaign Committee has been working diligently on the various components of the project.

The Rectory work is well underway with work continuing at a steady pace. The bathrooms have undergone demolition. We are reusing the toilets and marble pieces. We’ll resell the old bathtubs. Our contractor, Matt Piersol, is also working on the subfloors ensuring that they are level and stable.

The committee met with Tim Rich, Knowles Industrial Services, to discuss the church roof and related pointing. We are hoping to prepare the site for work to start in January. We reviewed the proposed timing for roof work and repointing. This work will stretch throughout 2026. Once completed we’ll begin the work on the organ.

All of this is contingent upon fundraising.

We are pleased to report that we have received commitments from all of the Vestry and campaign committee. We have been meeting with the people who participated in the feasibility study. Eventually we will meet with everyone to seek their support.

While in the early stages of fundraising, we are pleased with the response to date. Saint Mary’s is blessed in so many ways, especially with the financial support shared by our parishioners.
